The HALO Curve is a two-person evacuation chair engineered specifically for spiral and narrow staircases — the tight, turning stairwells where a standard straight-track chair simply won't fit or track the turn. A stainless-steel frame, telescopic handle, and adjustable brake give operators precise control.
It handles both directions: a self-braking friction track controls speed going down, and the design supports assisted ascent as well.
Operators secure the passenger with chest and leg straps into the stainless-steel chair. A self-braking friction track engages the stair edges to control speed and smoothness while the lead operator steers with the telescopic handle and a second manages the front grab-handles. Brake tension is adjusted to the passenger's weight for controlled movement down — or up — spiral and narrow stairwells.
